Preparation of Nanofibers of Poly (methyl methacrylate) Composited with Few-Layer-Graphene for Anticorrosion Layer

An anticorrosion layer is a significant component that prevents the corrosion process in materials. In this work, nanofiber of poly (methyl methacrylate) composited with few-layer-graphene was prepared as an layer. electrospinning applied to prepare composite on metal substrate at various concentrations few-layer graphene. The physical properties were investigated field-emission scanning electron microscope, Raman spectroscopy, and contact angle measurement. behavior tested aqueous solution 3.5% by weight sodium chloride. It found graphene concentration 2 wt% polymethacrylate showed optimum aluminum sheet, observed Tafel graph. Compared uncoated metal, coated sheet protected against protection efficiency 99.33%. materials prevented infiltration water ions into plate.
